Bumper repair in South East London

Bumpers take the worst of London driving — kerbs, posts, parking sensors that work right up until the moment they don't. Repairing them is almost always cheaper than replacing them.

Hand smoothing a vehicle body panel

A scuffed bumper drops the look of a car as much as a dent in the door. Most repairs go in and out in two days — you bring the car in Monday, it’s back home by Wednesday with the bumper looking as it did when you bought it.

What we fix

  • Bumper scuffs from kerbs, posts, walls
  • Cracks (plastic-welded from behind)
  • Splits at the corners
  • Tow-eye cover damage
  • Lower-lip rash (front splitter region)
  • Re-mounting after a previous loose-fit repair

Insurance work

If the damage is part of an insurance claim we can deal directly with your insurer. Bring the claim reference and we’ll handle the rest.

How it works

  1. 01

    Send a photo

WhatsApp the damage. Tell us if it's cracked, just scuffed, or both. We'll tell you whether to repair or replace.

  2. 02

    Off the car (or on)

Most repairs are done with the bumper still fitted. Larger jobs come off so we can spray it cleanly without masking the headlights and badges.

  3. 03

    Plastic weld + paint

Cracks are plastic-welded from behind. Scuffs are filled, sanded, primed, painted, and lacquered. Colour matched to the rest of the car.

  4. 04

    Refit and check

Refit, line up the gaps with the wing and bonnet, parking sensors checked. 12-month workmanship guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Repair vs replace — when does each make sense?

Repair almost always wins on price for cracks, scuffs, and minor splits. Replacement is the call if the bumper has structural damage (mounts torn off), if multiple panels are involved, or if the OEM part is cheap enough on the model in question that respray time costs more than a new one painted.

How long does a bumper repair take?

Most bumpers can be back on your car in 1–2 days. Larger jobs that need a full respray take 2–3 days for paint cure.

Will the parking sensors still work?

Yes. We refit any parking sensors and check them before you collect. If a sensor is damaged we'll tell you up front so you can decide.

Is the colour match guaranteed?

Yes — we either spray the whole bumper or blend into the wings, depending on what looks better on your car. Either way the result matches the rest of the body.

How much does a typical scuff cost?

A small scuff on a single bumper corner is usually £120–£180. A full bumper respray (e.g. multiple impact points) is £250–£450. Photos give a real number.
