Alloy wheel refurbishment in South East London

Kerbed alloys make a clean car look scruffy. Refurbishing them is faster and a fraction of the cost of buying replacements — and you get to keep the OEM wheel that was sized and balanced for the car.

Polishing pad finishing alloy bodywork

A refurbished alloy looks better than a brand-new aftermarket replacement and costs significantly less. Our standard refurb covers strip, sand, paint or powder, lacquer, balance — all in.

What we refurb

  • Kerb rash (the classic)
  • Corrosion under the lacquer
  • Diamond-cut alloys lifting at the lip
  • Full colour changes (matte black, satin grey, anthracite, custom)
  • Two-tone or split finishes
  • Single-wheel emergency repairs (skim and refinish)

Pricing guide

Standard paint refurb is from £60 per wheel for a single colour, more for split finishes or unusually large/spoked wheels. Powder coat is typically £75–£90 per wheel. Final price depends on size, current condition, and finish — send photos for a real quote.

How it works

  1. 01

    Send a photo

WhatsApp a shot of each wheel and tell us what finish you want — keep current colour, change to gloss black, satin grey, etc.

  2. 02

    Strip & repair

We strip the existing paint, weld minor cracks if needed, and sand back any kerb damage to clean metal.

  3. 03

    Refinish

Paint or powder coat to your chosen finish. Two-stage paint with lacquer for paint, oven-cured powder for the harder-wearing option.

  4. 04

    Refit & balance

Tyres back on, balanced, you collect.

Frequently asked questions

Painted vs powder coat — which should I choose?

Powder coat is harder-wearing and resists kerb damage better, but it doesn't allow custom colours as easily. Paint allows any finish (including pearls and metallics) but is slightly more vulnerable to kerb damage. We'll recommend based on the wheel and how you drive.

Can you fix a buckled wheel?

Yes, we can refurbish minor buckling and rim bends. Severe structural damage isn't safe to repair on a road car — we'll tell you straight if a wheel needs replacing.

How long does it take?

A standard refurb on 4 wheels is 2–3 working days. Single-wheel jobs can be done overnight if you can leave the car.

Will it match the others?

If you only want one or two wheels done, the new finish will match because we use the same paint code. If you want all four matching after kerb damage to one, we usually do all four together to guarantee the result.

Do I need to remove the tyres myself?

No, we handle removal, rebalance and refit as part of the price.
